FICQ is the peak body for all Indian Associations and Indian diaspora in Queensland. FICQ plays a significant role working with all Indian organisations with a member of 40 associations who are part of FICQ. FICQ play a leadership role in the India communities has hosted many successful major festival and events in Queensland about 20 years.

It is a unique occasion that the national days of two countries (India and Australia) fall on the same day (26 January) and we would like to celebrate this important day in view of the growing Australia-India trade, tourism, education and cultural ties, along with the growing Indian population in Queensland.

We would be very pleased if you along with your committee/ or key members together up to 5 people can attend the India – Australia Day Celebration as guests.

Traditional attire for the event would be much appreciated.
